About Me
Hi, I'm Sushil Kumar, a master's graduate in Computer Science (AI specialization) from Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg. I am currently a research intern at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (MPI-IS) in Tübingen, where I work on long-range music generation using foundation models.
Previously, I worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer ISE, focusing on extracting structured information from scientific PDFs. Before that, I was part of the Responsible AI group at MPI-SP, where I collaborated with Prof. Asia Biega and Lin Kyi on research related to deceptive design and GDPR compliance.
Research Interests: Foundation Models, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Multimodal Learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Deep Learning in NLP and Computer Vision, Trustworthy and Responsible AI, AI Agents.
